About Your Stay

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, Figtree Private Hospital offers private rooms. Patient rooms include spacious ensuite bathrooms, offering peaceful views of the surrounding pastures and escarpment. Our relaxed atmosphere provides a calm and comfortable setting to aid in your recovery.

Some patients may be charged a $25 incidental fee, which is dependent upon your health fund.

Any additional pharmacy and equipment purchases will need to be paid by you personally upon discharge.

As an inpatient, dependent upon your needs, you will be seen by one of our multidisciplinary team who will work with you and your team on planning your discharge as safely and as timely as possible.

Your GP, specialist or surgeon will receive a discharge summary from us and this will list your progress, recommendations and medications and follow up appointments if necessary.

We value your feedback regarding your experience with us. We have specific customer feedback cards which we invite you to complete and let us know how you feel.

Foxtel is available for your entertainment in your room.

Figtree Private Hospital offers complimentary Wi-Fi to patients.

All your local, interstate and mobile calls are free of charge.

All your meals are cooked fresh daily onsite.

Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements and one of our dieticians will assist you to ensure you choose the best meals for you.

If you are able, please bring all medications with you from home. All other medications will be ordered by your medical officer and will be provided by our pharmacist. These medications will be billed directly to you if not covered by your health fund.

When you are admitted please ask our staff if mobiles can be used in your room. Mobiles may be used in all public areas including the coffee shop. Figtree Private Hospital does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your mobile phone.

Complimentary newspapers are available on request.

It is very important that you inform us if you are feeling pain or discomfort as this will affect not only how you feel physically but emotionally as well.

Controlling your pain effectively is vital if you want the best out of your rehabilitation.

Weekends 12pm – 8pm

Visiting outside these hours are available at the discretion of the ward manager.
